Sing You Brave People

Illustrated historical text for children aged 7 – 12 about Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal relations in Western Sydney and the Blue Mountains. Parenting Young Service Development Manual

Parenting Young provides support and information to young parents up to the age of twenty four. A Working Party of twelve workers from eight different agencies provides a weekly outreach service.

The manual was created to provide workers with an accessible means of developing a Parenting Young in your area. The manual is easy to read and is supported by parents’ quotes. The manual was designed by a young parent from the project and includes colourful photos of group members and the Working Party.

Young Parents Grow Great Kids

In 2010 this small colourful booklet was produced by our Parenting Young coordinator Sarala Porter and the parents attending Parenting Young as part of a Peer Educator Training Program.  The booklet contains a number of stories from young parents about birth and parenthood as well as useful information and contact details for local services.
