Blue Mountains Occasional Child Care Service (BMOCCS)

BMOCCS is a licensed child care service funded through Family and Community Services. We provide quality child care for 0-6 year old children at an affordable price during school terms.

BMOCCS is located at four different locations across the Blue Mountains.

Mon 9.30am – 12.30pm St Johns Rd Complex, St Johns Rd, Blaxland

Wed 9.30am – 2.00pm Mid Mountains Community Centre, 9 New St, Lawson

Thur 9.30am – 2.00 Winmalee Presbyterian Church, High School Dr, Winmalee

Fri 9.30am – 1.00pm Baptist Church, Kubya St, Blackheath

Term dates for 2012:

Term 1: 30/1 – 30/3; Term 2: 23/4 – 22/6; Term 3: 16/7 – 14/9; Term 4: 8/10 – 7/12

Our program of activities and creative projects aim to engage children in learning activities that encourage creativity, exploration, problem solving, emerging literacy/numeracy, construction as well as social and emotional competence. Our educational focus is guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).

Please bring:

  • Morning tea in a container, including fruit - with name label
  • Lunch in a container - with name label
  • Drink bottle of water (or diluted juice & or milk) - with name label
  • Bag with sun hat, change of clothes, nappies/ pull-ups - all with name label
  • A comfort toy/ wrap/ dummy etc.

PLEASE REMEMBER BMOCCS IS A NUT FREE ZONE

Fees: $6 per child, per hour (siblings - $5 per child, per hour)

Minimum 3 hour booking. Annual $10 administration fee per family

Bookings essential please contact the BMOCCS Coordinator on 0412 932 801 for all bookings and enquiries. We accept bookings up to a week to two weeks in advance. Should you no longer need to use the service please cancel your booking so that the limited places available can be given to someone else.
