Supported Playgroups: an opportunity to play, learn and connect.
We provide a structured and positive learning environment for children and carers. Our aim to support you to meet other parents/carers and children, and together, increase skills, confidence and a sense of belonging. We provide fun and creative opportunities to learn through play and connection.
Description
Our playgroups run at Wentworth Falls Lake on Tuesdays and Hazelbrook Scout Hall on Wednesdays. If you are looking for something on another day, speak to our staff about our First Time Parents and Parenting Young programs.
Our supported playgroups are inclusive and friendly. They offer you and your child the opportunity to: have fun and explore new activities; develop and build skills through play; make friends and meet other carers; share ideas and be part of your community.
Who's it for?
Playgroups are for all parents and carers who care for children birth - 5 yrs. We operate during school terms and are an excellent way to introduce children to social situations and early childhood learning.
Duration
Tuesdays and Wednesdays during the school term.
